For most commercial premises, fixed wiring should be inspected at intervals of no more than five years – sooner for some building types or where the last report recommends it.

How often do I need an EICR?+
Commonly every five years for commercial premises, but the interval depends on the building type, use and condition. Your last report will state a recommended date.
What do the codes on an EICR mean?+
C1 means danger present, C2 potentially dangerous, C3 improvement recommended and FI further investigation required.
Can you fix what the report finds?+
